Toward the Sound of Chaos Book Blurb and Teaser Reveal

Hiya Bunnies.
Today I'm super excited to release the blurb and first official teasers of my upcoming project,
Toward the Sound of Chaos.
An author's mind is a very busy little place. You could be driving through some podunk town in the middle of bumfuck Australia, just minding your own business, and WHAM!
Inspiration hits.
Toward the Sound of Chaos snuck up on me, put me in a chokehold, and didn't let go.
One moment I was sitting in my lounge room with the non-husband, and the next?
Welcome to Fairhope, Alabama, people.
Hours upon hours of research, watching countless war documentaries, and more movies with Hot Marines—sadly, not those kind of moviesthan you could poke a stick at later and I'm knee deep in Ellie and Jake's story and I don't ever want to leave.
I hope you won't either, because I can't wait to share this book with you.
Beautiful Hang from By Hang Le created the most perfect cover I could ever imagine for Jake and Ellie. The woman is a genius!
The cover reveal will be hosted by TRSoR Promotions on April 14th so be sure to check out their page for the sign up.
Now, let's get to the fun part, shall we?

Expected Publishing Date: 18th May 2016

Toward the Sound of Chaos
Jake Tucker is broken. At twenty-two, he went in to the Marine Corps a naïve, troubled youth. Nine years and four tours later, Jake finds himself back on US soil, though his mind remains firmly planted in the sands of Afghanistan with the men he left behind.

Wounded, chewed up and spat out by war, Jake has only his dog, Nuke, PTSD, and survivor’s guilt to keep him company. He’s lived every day for nine years wondering when it will be his last, but there’s little comfort in the fact that he’s still standing when his platoon isn’t.

Ellie Mason doesn’t have time for broken. She’s too busy trying to put food on the table. And keeping up with the demands of her autistic son, Spencer, is sometimes like fighting behind enemy lines. As if navigating the minefields of single parenthood isn’t enough, Ellie finds herself drawn to the quiet Marine who’s just as lonely as she is. But she’s loved damaged men before, and it left her wounded.

Set against the picturesque backdrop of Fairhope, Alabama, Ellie and Jake find themselves running toward the sound of chaos.

Love is war.

Only the strong survive, and surrender is inevitable.
